Ultra Flax Omega™ is a highly advanced scientific formulation that contains flaxseed oil, a rich source ofOmega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 PUFA as its primary ingredient.

Flaxseed oil is extracted from organically grown flax seeds using a special cold-pressing process which reduces the damaging effects of light, oxygen and heat.

100% cold-pressed, organic flaxseed with mixed d-a tocopherols is used to protect from oxidation The black-coloured capsule has carob-coating  (St John’s Bread extract) that is used to protect the essential oils from the degenerative effects of heat and light.

Ultra Flax Omega™ consists of Omega 3 which has metabolic effects that can help prevent coronary heart diseases.

Numerous studies have shown that the intake of adequate essential fatty acids (Omega- 3, 6) reduces the incidence of cardiovascular diseases by their exertive anti-arrhythmic effects and their reduction of platelet aggregability, triglycerides levels and blood pressure. The 2 forms of Omega 3 fatty acids areEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoicacid (DHA). Omega-3 was found to be able to cause a decrease in plasma concentrations of VLDL, LDL and triglycerides. It causes a 25% decrease in glycerol production, and a 20% decrease in hepatic triglycerides synthesis.
