CULTURELLE  - Clinically Proven Safe & Effective

Why Should You Take Culturelle
Diet, travel, stress & even medications can cause imbalances in your digestive tract. Taking Culturelle, a probiotic, helps maintain a nourishing level of “good” bacteria, essential to regularity & gastrointestinal (GI) health.

A healthy human body contains approximately 500 billion bacteria. Most are good for the body. They help the body to digest food & maintain a healthy metabolism.

Good bacteria also occupy space in the intestinal tract preventing bad bacteria from taking hold in the body. Without good bacteria in the intestines as a barrier, the body is less capable of normal, healthy functioning.

What is Lactobacillus GG?
Lactobacillus GG (or LGG for short) is the most clinically researched & proven probiotic strain to help maintain a healthy intestinal flora. LGG has been documented in more than 250 studies to improve GI health.

How Does LGG compare to other strains of probiotic bacteria such as acidophilus?
Research shows that stomach acid kills many Lactobacillus strains on contact, including acidophilus, preventing those strains from reaching the intestinal tract. Strains that are delivered using a coated tablet may survive stomach acid, however, the majority do not adhere to the intestinal lining. Those that are able to adhere, do not colonize in the intestinal tract as successfully as LGG.

In study after study, LGG has been proven to better withstand stomach acid & form a stronger barrier to bad bacteria than other Lactobacillus varieties. Also, each capsule contains billions of live, active cells, more than virtually any other capsule or tablet on the market, & its potency is guaranteed. Studies have established that for maximum beneficial effects, billions of “good” bacteria should be taken in order to colonize the intestinal tract. Many probiotic products contain only a few million bacteria, so the health-enhancing activity of these other products may be questionable.

Is LGG Safe?
All-natural LGG has been exhaustively studied for safety as well as effectiveness. Although Culturelle with LGG is relatively new to the U.S, millions of Europeans of all ages have taken LGG over the last 20 years.

Culturelle is clinically proven safe & effective, has no known side effects & may be taken with other supplements & medications, including antibiotics.

Are There Any Side Effects?
In rare instances, users have noticed bloating, gas or intestinal rumbling. This is normal due to the changing of the intestinal environment & should subside within 2 weeks.

Are There Any Drug Interactions?
There are no known drug interactions that have been reported with Culturelle, based on the mechanism of action of known pharmacological agents.

Is There A Best Time to Take Culturelle?
There is no specific time of the day to take Culturelle. Its effectiveness does not diminish with or without food.

How Often Should I Take Culturelle?
Take 1 capsule per day as part of a daily regimen to maintain digestive health & support the immune system. The bacterial strain in Culturelle will begin to colonize within 48 hours, establishing an effective barrier in the intestinal tract. Therefore, some benefits begin in 2 days, but ongoing gastrointestinal & immune benefits are realized after longer term continuous usage.

What Happens if I Stop Taking Culturelle?
Within approximately 1 week of not taking Culturelle, the barrier of good LGG bacteria may weaken & you may need to “repopulate” your intestinal tract with LGG to help you feel your best.

Why is Each Capsule Individually Double-Foil Protected?
Light, air, heat & moisture can all negatively affect probiotic bacteria, causing their number of active bacteria to diminish. Each Culturelle capsule is individually protected to assure maximum potency, stability & act as an effective barrier.

User Testimonies:

I get the “traveller’s diarrhoea” whenever I’m overseas and I can’t tolerate street food as well as other people. Culturelle works really well for me; I take 1 capsule everyday and I no longer suffer from food poisoning every time I travel. The packing also makes it convenient to bring overseas.
